Ingredients
  1. 1 cup milk choc chips/buttons
  2. ¾ cup brown sugar
  3. 1 & ½ cups plain flour
  4. ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  5. 120gm butter, melted
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  7. 1 egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat a fan forced oven to 160C and line/grease two large baking trays.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the butter and sugar for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and creamy. Whisk in the egg and vanilla.
  3. Sift in the flour and baking powder and stir until well combined. Fold through the chocolate chips.
  4. Roll into tablespoon sized balls and place on the baking trays.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
  1. You can certainly swap for dark or white chocolate if you prefer.
