Recently Emerson was lucky enough to attend Camp Blue in Manly for 2 days, with one of her besties from school. I had previously heard from other mum’s about how well run these camps were and the variety of activities on offer for all of the kids.
The philosophy behind camp blue was to create an American style Summer Camp here in Australia for children in Kindergarten to Year 9. The owner/directors Sam and Jon Bell created 3 Australian camps after having worked in American Summer Camps for 6 years and also creating a holiday camp in Europe. It is evident that their years of experience and leadership is now a reflection of what’s on offer at their camps in Sydney & Melbourne.
As Sam & Jon mentioned, most holiday programs fail to cater for all children’s diverse and ever changing interests. This is certainly their point of difference from other school holiday camps held in Sydney.
Once your child’s booking is confirmed they are able to decide on what activities they want to participate in each week. The variety of activities throughout the week definitely caters for all personalities, skills/interests and age groups. There are up to 20 activities in total for the kids to choose from in each camp, with 4 activities to select each day. This was fantastic for Emerson as she got to do cooking class, art class, beach games and swim in the rockpool with her friends.
When I arrived to pick Emerson up on both days, she literally didn’t want to leave (a great indication that she LOVED IT!). She had an absolute ball and made lots of new friends too! We will definitely be booking a spot for her next school holidays.
Camp Blue run 3 camps throughout Sydney and Melbourne: Manly, North Sydney and Windsor (Melbourne).

I hope your children enjoy it as much as Emerson did!
